Pre-History: Outliers Episode 2.5 | Koleken

Running alongside the infamous meat-eating-bull Carnotaurus was it's smaller, elusive relative, Koleken inakayali. Depicted in a speculative vibrant skin display, this medium size abelisaurid flaunted its colors to deter other predators from getting too close, while evading danger with it's long legs and agility.

What was originally meant to be just a quick Species Focus animation for the Koleken, evolved into a bigger project, and I decided to tie it in with the Outliers story line. But its not grand enough to be episode 3, so I decided to call it "Episode 2.5". This was a moment in time when Albino's nest was raided and a few of her eggs were lost to a mischievous Koleken. But as we know, 3 of her cluster survived and hatched into 3 adorable Carnotaurus chicks.
